A premier mortgage banking law firm in New York State, Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates operates three offices: Fishkill, Batavia, and Plainview. In addition to focusing on client representation, the law firm’s team dedicates many hours to community service and volunteerism. In 2012, the company’s Batavia office supported The Buffalo News Kids Day event by selling the newspaper.
Each year, The Buffalo News publishes a special Kids Day edition. Volunteers sell the publication to raise funds for an array of nonprofits, including the Robert Warner, MD, Center for Children with Special Needs at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo; and Variety, the Children’s Charity, of Buffalo and Western New York. The Warner Center offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for young people with disabilities. It maintains clinics that treat pediatric patients with feeding disorders, motor skills problems, speech and hearing issues, and Down syndrome, among other conditions.
Over the past three decades, the event has raised nearly $4 million in total. 2012 marked Kids Day’s 30th anniversary. Each year, hundreds of corner captains, thousands of volunteers, and numerous donors support the effort.
