An Abbreviated History of Ronald McDonald House Charities

The employees of mortgage banking law firm Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates understand the importance of giving back to the community. To this end, the team at Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates chooses a number of worthy charities to support, from local nonprofits to organizations with a global reach. Among these, Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates’ employees have donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities, a multifaceted support network for children with serious illnesses or injuries. Founded in Philadelphia in 1974, the first Ronald McDonald House opened its doors thanks to the financial support of several members of the Eagles Football organization and the Regional Manager of McDonald’s, Ed Rensi. From there, Ronald McDonald House Charities grew to 150 worldwide locations by 1991, 200 in 1999, and to its present number of 309 locations, which are spread out across 57 countries. Providing more than 7,000 free bedrooms to families each night, along with various social and healthcare programs, Ronald McDonald House Charities helps families stay close, supported, and taken care of during difficult times.
