AHRC Nassau provides prevocational assistance, employment support, and volunteer opportunities for program participants through the Freeport Vocational Center, AHRC Nassau’s Supported Employment Department, and the Community Hubsite Program. Prevocational services, presented through the Freeport Vocational Center, teach a range of skills necessary for employment in any field. Supported employment helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to integrate into the workforce within their communities.
