Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County’s Cars for Homes program allows members of the community to donate vehicles to the organization to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity, which builds and renovates houses for families in need. The organization accepts all types of vehicles, regardless of whether they work, including cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and construction or farm equipment. Donated vehicles may be eligible for a tax donation, and recycling vehicles saves energy and protects the environment.
The Genesee County chapter of Habitat for Humanity has been active since 1999. The organization depends on volunteers for resources and labor to build homes that provide a safe and durable place for people to live. Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County has built new houses in Pavilion, Alexander, and Batavia, and it is now working on a project on Harvester Avenue in Batavia.
Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates team lead Carla Cole, who works in the law firm’s Batavia office, serves on the board for the Genesee County chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
