An associate partner with Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates, P.C., Craig Wolfson serves on a wide range of professional and nonprofit boards. Recently, he joined the Business Advisory Council of the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center (SJJCC), an organization that is committed to meeting the needs of all individuals in the community. For more than three decades, the center has provided services to individuals with special needs through a person-centered approach. An individual assessment allows the center’s staff to place individuals appropriately in order to stimulate personal and social growth. Services include recreational programs, social skills groups, and vocational programs.
The SJJCC staff includes special education professionals, social workers, and psychologists who understand how to work effectively with individuals with special needs. The organization serves children and adults from Long Island and Queens who have disabilities ranging from autism spectrum disorder to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In addition, SJJCC works closely with the families of individuals with special needs to offer various respite and inclusion programs.
